Big news! One of our handcrafted batik bandanas is being used as a prop in Idina Menzel’s new Broadway musical, Redwood! This is a proud moment for us and our artisan partners in Indonesia, whose traditional craftsmanship is now shining under Broadway lights.

We are beyond thrilled to share that a piece of Kasih Co-op is officially part of the Broadway scene. When the production team for the new musical Redwood—starring the legendary Idina Menzel—reached out for an authentic, handcrafted textile, we knew our batik bandanas would be the perfect fit.

From Indonesia to the Broadway Stage The bandana featured in the show is more than just a prop; it represents generations of tradition. Every one of our bandanas is hand-stamped by master artisans in Indonesia using the ancient "Batik Cap" (wax-resist) method. Seeing this traditional art form integrated into a modern Broadway story is a testament to the timeless beauty of Indonesian craft.

A Standing Ovation for Our Artisans This milestone is a tribute to our artisan partners back home. Their dedication to quality and heritage is what makes moments like this possible. Whether it’s being held under the spotlight by a Broadway icon or worn by you on a weekend hike, each bandana carries the same spirit of authenticity and care.

A huge thank you to the Redwood team for choosing ethical, artisan-made products to help tell their story.
