There is no official standard for bandana sizes. One shop's "large" is another shop's "small," and "XL," "XXL" and "jumbo" get used loosely. Here is what those names usually mean and how our own sizes line up.

Go by Inches, Not the Label
Size names aren't regulated, so check the measurement. Every Kasih Co-op product page lists the size in inches, and our bandana size chart shows what each size does on the head, hair and neck.
Our Sizes Side by Side
| Size | Common name | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| ~21" | Regular / standard | Headbands, hair ties, bag accents, pocket squares. Shop regular |
| ~22x23" | Regular plus | A little more coverage for hair wraps and neck ties |
| ~27" | Large / mid-size | Full head wraps, neck scarves, longer hair. New. Shop 27" |
| ~39" | XL / oversized / jumbo | Big scarf looks, shawl styling, wall art. Shop 39" |
So What Is "XL"?
In our shop, XL means the 39" oversized bandana. It folds into a large triangle with a long edge of about 27", which is why it works as a scarf. Other shops may use "XL" for sizes closer to 27", so compare inches.
The New In-Between: 27"
New: the 27" mid-size bandana. If a regular bandana feels a bit small and a 39" feels like a lot, the 27" ($35, 100% cotton) is the middle option. Folded into a triangle, its long edge is about 19". See the 27" bandana guide.
Which Should You Pick?
- Head or hair accent: 21" or 22x23".
- Full head wrap or longer hair: 27". See the size guide.
- Scarf-style neck looks: 39", or 27" for a smaller knot. See large bandana scarf ideas.
- Big heads or very long hair: the oversized fit guide.

Not sure? Our Sunset Sky 39" and Sunset Sky 27" show the same pattern in two sizes.
