This is a hand-dyed and hand-stamped batik bandana, handmade by artisans. This fabric is handmade by artisans in Java using centuries old wax & dye batik technique. 

  • This fabric is made from the lightweight lightweight bandana fabric.
  • This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-stamped and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color.
  • This pattern is called Cherish. Red and Yellow in color
  • Size: 22"x22"
  • Made with 100% cotton fabric
  • Machine washable in cold and air dry. Wash batik separate from other garments.
  • You can wear them as bandana around your neck, as a head and hair cover wrap or as a face mask.

It is hard to find small cotton scarves that are solid colored but do not have the traditional western design. I like to keep my neck warm, even in the summer, and can take off the scarf to cool off if I work up a sweat.

This is even nicer than I had imagined it would be.

Much more feigned and luxurious than the other cotton bandanas I own - almost silk like, but it can get wet and ear harder than silk. It’s perfect. Really well made and a joy to put on.
